through open ai which is what like i'm using on on open vibe it's just api but now you can do a

split now you can choose the split so you can do like how much do you want it to do it through here

versus the api so you do full api or not right now just to see because that gives you a real

gauge on cost and usage this is kind of like infinite use sort of this is infinite the reason

this is nice and really good and everything it's because it's not like that i'm paying for tokens

this is not i'm not paying for tokens and it uses like the high reasoning and the top tier model and

shit um so but if you do that too much they detect that you're botting it and they like stop you from

it so you have to like balance essentially t uh the 258 that's how much my like balance i have like in

the wall in uh the wallet which i i've filled that with like it's been pretty like it's been chipping

away pretty slowly i'm still i'm also using it for all the ai on like the home page on open vibe and

like pretty much everything on open vibe that's ai and it's only costing me like whatever oh see like

this robot look at it wait is that when they put google eis on no that was like some other comment

i do like it yeah it's got like a face it's got hands and shit

what is the point of the bot uh it's you decide the point so it's completely vibed so you can just uh

oh so the fucking ui is a mess right now though so ignore that but um essentially you just vibe it

like you literally tell it like uh what do i have it set to right now like i'm like your eventual goal

will be to advertise open vibe dot live in a nonchalant slick way explore robotics blah blah

blah and then it generates like a plan so right now it's researching it's researching audience i took

three screenshots i will recreate do it do it you probably do it better uh this is also like honestly

this really could just use like if i just used fable 5 and remade it which i should because this is like

been multiple iterations of this because like at first it really wasn't like you know how you said

what's the point of the bot well at first there was like different points but then it became more of

like a broad reddit agent so it probably could if i just ultra code to run through it to audit it

no i probably just recode the whole thing with ultra code fable 5 when my limit resets tomorrow

but because i've used like yeah this has been like kind of like a mess of a project like

that's okay just audit it i mean i guess it's such a mess though i don't like how it is right now but

you're right you're right but yeah it's kind of like kind of it's just a mess because of all the

that i've done all along the way because i don't even really know what it was supposed to be at first

i was just trying to like have fun make a bot or some shit no he was just saying he can one shot it

and audit this clean up that code fix obvious bugs yeah i give i hate it with that like all the time or

variations of that but really i need to make the ui better right now which does require some like

managing of the ai to tell what to do because yeah it's made a mess of shit i've just been lazy when

you do that too much patrick it starts like like just doing weird shit you have to give it some good input

needs to be able to go to the profile of the person it's reading for additional context it needs

oh that's a good point needs needs that's a good point it also actually you're right about yeah

uh that it needs it should read the profile like of people for additional context before

it like replies to someone there are profiles that hide their profile but you can get around

that using arctic shift and google keyword searches tell your ai to add that too

bro you know you know the bypass all right i'll tell that uh rick patrick sent a link to

imgur i made a tool for profile look up wow hold on um i told them this

I was sussing out a shill.

It's fucking hella funny.

Re-oriented.

You guys suck-

I wanna build a robot again.

Microsoft broke Windows Defender

while trying to patch a zero-day exploit,

leaving the virus scans crashing right before the finish line

as the threat service quietly powered itself off.

And honestly, Windows defending absolutely nobody

is a pattern at this point.

I'm James Shrive, this is TechLinked,

and Shieldbreak comes from a researcher

going by Nightmare Eclipse,

who's been dropping Defender bugs all year.

So many that Microsoft reportedly threatened them

with legal action, then walked it back

after the entire security community piled on.

In Bolden, the hero of this story kept humbling Defender

because Shieldbreak was built for the express purpose

of proving Microsoft's last fix didn't work.

So here's the current situation.

The crashing is fixed and your scans work again,

but Shieldbreak itself still doesn't have a patch.

Meanwhile, Defender's walking around

looking mostly operational,

while the thing that started all this

remains very much unsolved.

Windows Defender has gone full Anakin Skywalker.

It went from protecting my computer to disabling my defenses.

You were supposed to bring balance to my PC, not infect it.

Apple accidentally gave away a whole lot more than it meant to

when the Mac OS Tahoe 26.7 beta included files

and code pointing to unreleased hardware.

These apples fell so far from the tree that they,

they already escaped.

They look nothing like me.

The leak first grabbed attention

because a video buried in the update showed AirPods with built-in cameras

using Apple's visual intelligence to recognize what the wearer was looking at

and save information through Siri.

Seemingly confirming a product concept that's been rumored since at least 2024.

Mark Ozzie Gurman-Diaz is always a step ahead,

but the AirPods weren't the only surprise.

Digging through the same update turned up hidden references and product codenames

for more than 10 other products,

including new iPhones, Macs, headphones, an OLED iPad mini,

and an updated Apple TV remote.

There were also several Apple home devices,

including a new home hub, a next generation HomePod mini,

and what may be a smart security camera.

They're putting cameras in your house.

They're putting cameras in your ears.

What's next?

Cameras on every street corner,

like we're living in some kind of security state.

Comcast has quietly turned millions of its routers into motion detectors

with a new feature aptly named Wi-Fi motion.

And it works without any cameras.

Your body moving through a room disrupts the Wi-Fi signal

between the router and your stuff,

which lets the router tell when someone's walking around.

The sensing comes free with the new Xfinity Shield bundle.

And to be fair, it's opt-in and off by default.

Basically, that's a burglar alarm built out of the internet

you're already paying for.

But switching it on creates a log of movement in your home.

And the fine print says that that log can reach police

without further notice to you.

Now the router knows when you're sleeping.

It knows when you're awake

and can legally tell Santa with no naughty list required.

- So be nice for goodness sake.

- Comcast insists Wi-Fi motion can't tell who is moving.

Though researchers have shown these same Wi-Fi

signals can identify people with extreme accuracy.

So give it a couple of firmware updates.

My left sock went missing this morning.

Sounds like a mystery.

It wasn't.

And it was the quick bits.

Firefox is adding AI features

through its optional Smart Window,

which can pull answers with sources, group tabs,

close duplicate tabs, and search your browsing history.

But you don't have to use any of that.

Mozilla says Smart Window can be turned off entirely.

Phew! I don't want anyone seeing my search history.

You know what I'm saying?

Firefox is also now officially supported by GeForce Now on Windows,

letting users stream compatible PC games in the browser.

The distraction we all need from what we're normally doing

on our browsers.

Huh?

Know what I'm saying?

Your next Visa bill could be downright spooky.

At the USENIX security symposium, researchers from UMass showed that some expired contactless

Visa credit cards, cards you can tap, can still be used for payments because a card's expiration

date isn't locked.

Some banks can be tricked into accepting altered expiration data, effectively bringing these zombie cards back to life.

So when your card expires, make sure to double tap it with some scissors.

Know what I'm saying?

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT for teens, as concerns go over how youngsters use AI.

Teens have asked ChatGPT for help concerning self-harm and eating disorders,

along with building outright unhealthy emotional dependence on the chatbot.

OpenAI says its system estimates users' ages, and users that state they're 13 to 17,

or are estimated to be in that range, are automatically placed in the teen experience.

God, I long to be there again.

With stronger safeguards and an emphasis on studying.

But ChatGPT, I don't want to study.

I want to do hood-rad things with my friends.

See, Sonic's Prime Enterprise RX 1600 is the first

ATX power supply to earn 80 plus Ruby certification

at 115 bullets, the program's new tier above titanium,

hitting 95% efficiency at 50% load.

Essentially, it's a hyper-efficient 1600 watt PSU

aimed at high-end PCs and AI workstations,

although there's no price or wider release date yet.

Still, that won't stop me

from running dual 5090s and SLI like God intended,

so long as the 16-pin connector doesn't melt them.

And Amazon accidentally posted Jason Statham's

entire new movie, Mutiny, to Prime Video

two days before it hits theaters.

The full 95-minute film just showed up

as a normal Prime listing, play button and all,

and a Verge reporter watched the whole thing

before Amazon pulled it.

Copies have reportedly escaped online,

which is pretty rough for Lionsgate,

who distribute the film and now get to compete

with themselves.

Don't worry, though, if you missed it,

just put the beekeeper on mute

and pretend the bad guys are pirates.

Just like I think you'll be a pirate

if you don't come back on Friday for more tech news.

Those pesky quick bits,

they still haven't given me my friggin' sock back.

You can't tell, but I'm sockless.

It's always just the left one.

Is it daytime or is that your screen?

It's daytime. It's 6:00 p.m.

I'm bored.

I just made a burrito.

No.

What do we need?

Oh.

Just like any.

Yeah, that works.

Spons of the forest.

I know.

Tell your bot to earn 1 million karma and put it to the test.

That'd be cool.

That is probably how I should be testing it.

Right now I'm seeing what it'll do though.

Cool, just watching what-

You can code whatever you want, but if it's not successful-

Well I don't know, I think I measure success just on how much fun I'm having when it comes

to something like this, but I think you're right that you can apply a metric to it if

you want.

I still haven't even fully decided what I'm using it for.

You bounce a ball at a wall for 9 hours alone and you paid to do it.

Is that successful, even though you had fun?

Yeah, but it's not about success to me, it's about fun.

Wow.

Oh, you're right.

That should probably be the end goal is to make it feel human and get a million updates or

whatever.

I didn't even let it- like it can post-

It'll be more fun when it can do shit.

Yeah, well it's like I'm not even giving it like the keys, so to speak, fully yet because

like retarded sometimes but it's doing shit like it's an update

funny like watching it upvote shit like it dude it upvoted some shit that was like like a like a

moral dilemma between like ai and human and the post kind of sided with the ai or some shit and

it was upvoting it i don't know a moderator permitted ad okay that's smart

But damn it, like, it got infected by VTuber shit or something.

What is it even looking for?

Well, right now, it's just, I mean, this is fair.

I told it, like, its goal should be, like, we're going to advertise PowerChat.Live.

Like, in a covert way.

Like, we got to spread it across Reddit type shit.

So, sly advertising.

But then I told it, don't start advertising yet.

Just start becoming, like, a regular user of the communities we plan on advertising.

So, right now, it's on, like, some VTuber one or whatever, which is actually pretty smart.

Comments.

A week later, go back and edit them.

Then you keep CO2.

Do one of those, one of those bait and switch type shit.

That's smart.

I should add that.

Smart, smart, smart.

I even got it set up so, like, it can leverage, like, the ChatGPT website.

So, I don't have to use so many API tokens.

So, over here, it's just, like, over here on the right side, it's literally just chatting with ChatGPT.

But it, like, it hands off, like, the things that need more reasoning and are more, like, thought heavy over to the ChatGPT web one.

Because those are going to be more heavy use, but I don't have to pay per API token.

And then it uses the API tokens for more simple shit.

Because Reddit, or not Reddit, ChatGPT does eventually detect you doing this type of shit.

So, I've had to, like, add a system that detects them detecting you.

But, yeah, they're, like, just two talking to each other.

Because I eventually also want to make it be able to use, like, Gemini web.

I thought they allowed it.

Maybe, I don't know.

They probably allow it.

You do eventually get fucking, like, a cooldown message.

That's all that really happens.

So, you do have to avoid the cooldown.

They probably do allow it, but there is, like, a cooldown.

If you heavily do it, anyway.

Like, you have to be doing it, you have to be raping it, really.

Then it uses the API for smaller shit, or, like, quick shit.

But then eventually I want to make it so you can use, like, this can use Gemini.

Like, it can trade between Gemini or ChatGPT or whatever.

Yeah, there's, like, I can't really show you until it happens again.

And now it doesn't really matter because my AI thinks about that anyway, so.

The message is, like, different depending on shit, too.

I don't know.

It's weird.

It could also be some weird shit that maybe my thing was sending.

I don't know.

The message is so vague.

It's like, we need, I don't even know.

It's like some fucking vague ass shit.

I could probably ask my AI and it would tell me like, the couple instances.

Cos Anthropic was banning OpenClaw users, and OpenEyeDevs came out and said you guys can use your sub now.

I was retarded. Or I mean, goddammit, my like, agent became a weeb.

*laughs*

It's got like the Spanish shit.

What the fuck? Interesting.

What the fuck? I don't know if I think I'd send notifications.

Crazy dude, just crazy like he just thinks of all this shit.

Uh, well now I wanna try it again, UI is still so like weird as-

Hi.

Yo.

Is that very hard?

Yeah, uh, don't mind my Reddit agent became like a weeb for some shit.

Sorry, it's like I'm disappointed in it, but it did kind of- it's- it's smart for doing it.

You should take crab fursona, permit crab fogo.

I just accidentally typed it up though.

Bro, why is it watching this HDI shit?

*laughs*

Because I told it, like, the goal, uh, honestly, it's smart, based on the goal-

You're going to make a trans reddit bot.

Bro, based on the goal I gave it, it's actually kind of smart.

Here's what I said, uh, just piece of shit.

Hurry up.

Bro, I can't even put the full thing in this chat.

Find communities that could make-

What the-

God damn it, there we go.

Find communities that could make use of rsgooselycentrelink to powerchat

and think of ways that we can nonchalantly/covertly advertise rsgooselycentrelink to powerchat

and gain a user bar.

Don't barh.

Now you can see why it be- doing this sh-

Why it turned to these reddits.

'Cause it is like a thir-

Thirst.

That's smart.

Catering to the VTuber audience.

Going to make a bot to counter powerchat.

*laughs*

GG.

That sucks, I don't really care.

I mean, Power Chat's not my product, I get paid hourly,

to work. That's my weekend project. I get paid hourly to just code it so whether it succeeds

or not doesn't really matter to me. I don't have any stake in it. That probably benefits

you. Now me like I'm just using it as like because I mean lulz I still see is my home.

Anon 195 cent a link to stake invest in the odds. That too. That too. Anyway if you want

to really fuck lulz over then go ahead Patrick. I'm sure you can figure out 20 agents that

can do that. I am going to send the Quran video out. On my other laptop I've just been

lazy. What the f- what is my body even doing right now? Like what is the task at hand? Like

what the f- why did you become the non-incident? WTF. So I got in the Wii thing because because

I found communities that vibe with anime style story- what the f- hold on. It's too- oh god

dude this is cr- this is- I mean yeah that's hella funny. Porn multiple agents. Like really it can like batch.

Sort of two going. I guess it kind of can. Like it can batch shit between the API and the chat and like the

web. The sorta. Can it do two browsers at once? Nah or like I mean I guess- And it can learn two things.

I mean it kind of is doing two browsers cuz it's reading chat with GVT but no it only does one right now.

Wow. It should probably be able to multitask more. Do you even build brah? Nah just chill.

How do you manage context?

Reading shit is mad context.

That's why it offloads someone's shit to the web chat GPT where I don't have to pay for it.

But like it uses the API for less like you know like less reasoning shit like cheap shit.

I'm using like the cheap shit.

Oh I see that now lol.

Yeah like it like heavily just and I have that shit on like cranked on high reasoning.

Wait it can be higher?

I'll fucking yeah turn that up.

But yeah I have it cranked on soul.

Guess I didn't have it cranked all the way.

Now I do.

Turn up the fucking dials.

Dude I need it like this UI is trash though.

There's like too much shit going on.

Like I can't even fucking gauge what's going on at any given moment.

After three days I got into my eBay account.

I am still within a bid.

I have a bid on to get wrecked.

How long did that phone call take where you actually got to like talk to a human?

Oh Patrick just eBay nonsense.

I sat on the phone for two hours forty and gave up.

Then called the next day for two hours.

Oh my god.

And then you finally got someone?

I went into their chat and requested a call.

Oh like a call back.

They called in two minutes lol.

So basically don't ever call and stay on hold.

It's a waste of time.

Yes.

So it's literally like a way to just fuck people over.

Just request a call back and skip it all.

Just a way to fuck people over, that's crazy.

Are you going to buy the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide?

An electric recovery slide that massages the foot with targeted heat and vibration.

Countering all of this.

I mean, I don't care.

My AI can fight your AI, I don't know, that's kind of fun for the love of the game, honestly.

I mean, ultimately, I don't even know what I'm gonna use this thing for, but it's cool seeing what a scenario.

Show settings.

Trying to fix my shit.

Um, that is, oh, this, sorry.

Oh, there's a bunch of shit in there.

That shit.

Thank.

Are you trying to make one now?

Going to see.

Yeah, it's pretty fun.

Actually, you should tell yours, dude, if you're gonna, like, think of this ahead of time.

Make it more, because what I would change is, I'm thinking too, uh, little picture, like, I'm thinking too inside the box.

Make it do Reddit, uh, x.com, and whatever else is used.

Those are the only two I would give a shit about, but I would, like, use it more, like, broad, like, multi-platform.

So it should be able to, like, go on x and do the same shit.

Like, it should be maybe just a social agent, rather than a Reddit agent.

Some shit like that would probably be a better, probably a better overall strategy.
